Moving On

I’m moving on.
Slowly but surely.
I’m taking down the photos of us,
And replacing them with new ones.
New memories.

I’m fine.
Alone.
I have myself as company,
And the comfort of my own room.

I’m okay.
Just bored.
There’s not much to do but think,
And lie around.
All I have to look at is my new collage on the wall.

I’m alright.
It takes time.
But I’ve got comfort.
In myself,
In my room,
And in new memories.
