Madison Iseman is ready for Halloween, but wouldn’t you be too if you had a starring role in Goosbumps 2: Haunted Halloween? Of course, she isn’t new to the big screen after making her debut in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Madison also has been in shows on basically all the platforms from Cable TV to Youtube - she crosses media boundries with grace and eaze. Continue reading to learn what authenticity means to her, How she feels about set life, and her favorite halloween costume (hint it’s a big red…)

What does beauty mean to you?

To me, beauty is feeling good in your own skin. Being content and happy, and being able to see the world through a positive lens.

What does authenticity mean to you?

I think authenticity is just being true to yourself and your character. Understanding your personal beliefs and goals, and making choices that come from your heart.

Best and hardest parts of being on set?

The hardest part of being on set is definitely the long hours. Some days we'll work up to 16 hours then turn around and do it the next day. Still wouldn't give it up for the world. Who needs sleep anyways?

What was your reaction to getting booked on a Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween since it is such a classic story?

I was very very excited! Goosebumps has been around since I was a child, so being able to continue that legacy for todays children is such an amazing feeling.

Favorite Halloween costume you have had?

My favorite halloween costume was probably the years, yes plural, I dressed up as Clifford the Big Red Dog. It was pretty epic. The head of the costume was probably twice as big as my body.

Was it weird watching yourself turn into Jack Black in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle?

It was so cool!! It wasn't too weird because we had done so much prep work before we filmed, so I was already used to it, but it was very exciting to see it come to life on the big screen.

You have been working as a TV actress for a while; did it feel different seeing yourself on a movie screen vs TV screen?

Yes, it was always a dream of mine to be in theaters. I remember going to the movies as a kid and imagining myself up there on the screen. There’s something magical about it.

You work in TV, Film, and online media: are there any key differences in how you prepare for different projects or how filming tends to go?

Not necessarily. I really just try to do the best work that I can. I find that TV is faster paced, but that really the only difference I can think of.

What projects are you currently excited to share with the world?

I'm very excited about Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween!! It was such a blast to film, and I have a feeling it will be just as fun to watch. I also just wrapped The F-IT List with AwesomenessTV Films alongside Eli Brown. Really excited for that one too, we had a great cast.
